BISCUITS & BUTTONS SEWING KIT - SANTA AND HIS HELPER
$45.00
Re-purposing biscuit tins to sewing kits to bring back history from as early as the 17th century to recorded as early as the 1920s. This kit includes (all new) all of my essential must-haves when one is a beginner sewer or an established seamstress, who wants something smaller than a sewing basket. Enough room has been left in the large tin to allow for product upgrades and add some of your favorite tools and notions along the way. This kid includes: Hem Gauge, Tracing Wheel, Purple Thang (to be used in defining your corners of your sewing projects), Measuring Tape, Folding Scissors, Set of Sewing Needles, Tomato Pin Cushion, One spool each of black and white Gutermann thread, Tin Box that includes Straight Pins, Thimble, and Seam Ripper, 6-Compartment Plastic Organizer that includes 5 Safety Pins, 5 Sewing Clips, 6 Snaps (Black and Silver), 2 Skirt Hook & Eyes (Black and Silver), 2 Closure Hook and Eyes (Black and Silver), 2 Buttons (Black and White), and a Needle Threader. The tin is lined at the bottom with foam covered in a Christmas fabric from my mom’s 1980s inventory. The small 6 inch tin does not include the six compartment plastic organizer.
